Garden Route Tours (6 days & 5 nights)
The name so frequently used to describe the beautiful Southern Cape coastal area often leads to expectations of formal "Gardens", complete with trimmed lawns and flowerbeds by first time visitors. It is, more correctly, a geographical portion of our coastline lying between the Indian Ocean and the Tzitzikamma mountain ranges from Mossel Bay to the Storms River. An area that receives all year round rainfall more or less evenly spread over twelve months. This leads to evergreen vegetation, running rivers, lakes statuaries and lagoons. Add to this the mountain and coastal scenery, the largest areas of indigenous forest in South Africa, a temperate "Mediterranean" type climate and the term "Garden Route" becomes self explanatory. Join us as we explore this beautiful part of the Southern Cape, and as our name says, come and discover.
