Cape Town is the oldest city in South Africa and is rich in cultural, heritage, history and of course the natural beauty that surrounds it. Since being discovered by The Dutch East India Company in 1652, it has become one of the top destinations worldwide for travelers.

  • Visit Table Mountain with its breathtaking views of the Cape Peninsula.
  • The Castle. Built between 1666 and 1679 by the Dutch East India Company (VOC) as a maritime replenishment station, the Castle of Good Hope is the oldest surviving colonial building in South Africa.
  • The Old Slave Lodge. The Slave Lodge was built in 1679 as the slave lodge of the Dutch East India Company. It is believed that up to 9000 slaves, convicts and the mentally ill lived in the building between 1679 and 1811.
  • The Company Gardens.
  • The Bo-Kaap. It is a multicultural area, tucked safely into the fold of signal hill. The inhabitants of Bo-Kaap are proud of their rich cultural heritage. They were mostly descendants of slaves which were imported by the Dutch back in the 1700's.
  • Kirstenbosch Gardens. Kirstenbosch grows only indigenous South African plants. The estate covers 528 hectares and supports a diverse fynbos flora and natural forest. The cultivated garden (36 hectares) displays collections of South African plants, particularly those from the winter rainfall region of the country and was founded in 1913.
